The ‘Naubinway’ Album Cover

Adam Levy’s solo record Naubinway is a gorgeous and cathartic document of his grief after losing his son Daniel in 2012 to mental illness and suicide. Daniel was a remarkable visual artist. He was a visual artist who studied at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design and was highly regarded for his conceptual and technical work. In late 2014, Adam looked through the sketchbooks Daniel left behind by his son and picked out this image to grace the cover of Naubinway. It will be part of a 32-page booklet of Daniel’s art that we will be releasing as part of the CD and vinyl release on Oct. 23. We just couldn’t be bigger fans of Daniel or his father.
