Adam Levy’s Solo Record ‘Naubinway’ To Be Released Oct. 23

Friends: it is with great joy that we get to announce the release date of Adam Levy’s glorious solo record, Naubinway. It will be Friday, Oct. 23. For us it’s all a bit surreal. We have been fans of his since his Honeydogs record Everything, I Bet You came out in 1996. That album still dazzles us. With Naubinway, Adam only adds to his legacy. In it Adam does the unthinkable: he confronts the passing of his son, the magnetic and gifted Daniel Levy, who suffered from mental illness and died from suicide and whose art graces the cover of this record and will be featured in a 32-page booklet. The songs are bracing, stripped down, raw, cathartic, and stunning. We’ve never heard anything more meticulously crafted or artistically realized in our lives. We’ll be sharing in the weeks to come details on the release, which will include CDs, vinyl and a charity partner. In the meantime If you’d like to learn more about Adam and Naubinway, go here or here. And if you’d like to watch Adam perform the unforgettable title track, click here. It’s all so beautiful.
