If you go into those sessions well-rested during your peak hours, you’re more likely to be able to learn and process what you need to get something out of therapy, which can help with such conditions as depression and anxiety.
Of course, everyone varies a bit, so if you’re not so coherent at 8 a.m., but you hit your stride at noon, consider going a little later in the day. Regardless of what specific time you go, it’s a good idea to head to therapy while you’re at the top of your game, rather than when you’re worn out.
